What is Card Collectors Club NZ?+
An independent membership club being developed to give verified New Zealand collectors fair access to card releases through transparent limits and member purchase windows.
Is CCNZ affiliated with Pokémon?+
No. Card Collectors Club NZ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company. Pokémon is named only to describe our intended initial collecting focus.
What does ‘member pricing’ mean?+
We intend to offer products around published New Zealand retail pricing where commercially possible. It is not a promise of the lowest market price, and final prices will be shown before any purchase.
Will every member get every release?+
No. Products and quantities depend on confirmed supply. Membership would provide fair access to available allocations, not a guarantee of every release.
How will allocations work?+
Members opt in to confirmed releases. If supply covers everyone who opts in, all eligible members receive the same purchase opportunity. Priority Points are used only when demand exceeds confirmed supply.
How do Priority Points work?+
Members earn one point for each completed month of paid membership. For an oversubscribed release, available units are offered to the highest balances first. Successful members use the announced number of points; members who miss out keep theirs. Equal balances are resolved by a transparent random draw, and buying more products never earns extra points.
Why will identity verification be required?+
Verification is intended to protect fair access by limiting duplicate accounts, obvious bulk buying and automated abuse. Identity documents are not collected on this website.
When will members be charged?+
No payment is taken to join the waitlist. Membership fees would begin only after an applicant is invited, accepts the final terms and activates membership.
Can members cancel?+
Yes. Cancellation details will be stated in the final membership terms before anyone pays.
Can products be resold?+
The club is intended for genuine collectors. Final member rules may restrict conduct that undermines fair access, including repeated bulk resale or attempts to bypass limits.
Will other collectibles be added?+
Possibly. We plan to start with Pokémon trading card products, then consider other categories based on demand, supply and the quality of the member experience.
What happens if demand exceeds 100 members?+
Applicants may remain on a waitlist. Being early helps us understand demand but does not guarantee one of the initial places.
